The Pines Golf Centre, Dumfries, is it closed?

I've heard that The Pines Golf Centre in Dumfries has closed. Any information would be much appreciated on this or any other courses that have closed.

Played it a few years ago and it was dire! One of the (very) few courses I've been to that I've vowed never to go back to. Staff were miserable, course was in really poor condition and there were no holes of any interest. It's the only time in 10 years on our annual Scotland golf trip that all 24 people didn't enjoy a course.

Many other courses available in the area that are miles better value.

I think it's changed its name to the Dumfriesshire Golf Centre.
