is coming right through my village tomorrow and i couldnt be less interested if i wanted to. Im fed up of hearing about it! Bloomin flags everywhere i know cornwalls a boring place but surely there is more exciting stuff than watching someone jog down the road holding a gas burner?
thankfully it will be out the county 7pm tomorrow night so normal order is resumed. On the plus side its free parking in town tomorrow so least i can go shopping and not have to pay the rip off prices :whoo:

Comes through our town in July. I will be in Spain out of the way, and yes it was planned that way. Sick of hearing about it already.

Comes through here July 9th.
Having to book the day off as there will be traffic mayhem and it's just not worth going out to sit in a jam for hours.
Not overly interested in the whole thing.........

Coming to Bracknell too. My money is on a local hoodie trying to nick it

just had a look at the route, they appear to be faffing about round Huntingdon and Bedford and presumably doing the bit in between by car - good luck at the Black Cat

ps if Stevenage and Luton are earlier on the route it won't get to Bracknell

Didn't think that 'job' had been dished out yet...

My vote would be for Sir Steve to be doing it...

Sorry if my post was a bit misleading. As I understood it Becks lit the torch that will be carried and the "cauldron" thing when the flame arrived.

No problem... Does seem the Olympics 'promotion' is becoming a 'jobs for the boys' affair...

Don't begrudge the likes of Ben Ainslie being part of it but as for some of the other 'muppets'...

Passes the back if my house in July, I'll go and see it. I'm also fed up of hearing about it and the jubilee but it's not something that happens alot so I'll take my daughter down to watch. The worst part was last month we had a practice run!!! Chaos traffic just for a practice the main ring road shut for over an hour in the morning rush hour! Made me glad I don't work because I'd never of got there!

he was a big part of the BID that won it and football is an Olympian sport this time round.

Its a MAJOR coup for this country guys, stop moaning about it like brits always do and lets celebrate. We are trying very hard to make this work.

On saying that I do have to have a small moan that the welcoming ceremony should have had more flair and razzamatazz as the Yanks would do it, its the biggest sporting event on the planet and its on our doorstep:whoo:
