Saw them once as a 12 year old coming off the Lammerview Hills looking to Fife. Quite fab u luss.

Its my one regret when I lived in Norway that I never got to see them, I fancy a week in Unst during March trying to see them. I would go back to Norway but the price is a killer!

Watched the Joanna Lumley documentary a couple of years ago and the emotion she felt said it all.

Lived in Aberdeenshire for 13 years and saw them once when driving up A90 and then out West of Aberdeen - show lasted an hour or so - my sister and nephew takes photos of them from North Fife - one of the nephew's was on the front page of The Times last year - this one I think Northern Lights/

They are stunning to see. Saw them whilst working at Saxa Vord ( Shetland Islands )

Saw them once over the Angel of the North, not very often we get them this far south, but it was impressive.

Only seen them the once (in the Scottish Borders); although not that bright they were very, very beautiful.

Nature does deliver some amazing sights. Would love to see the Northern lights for real.

I'm lucky staying as far North as I do in that I can see them a lot during the winter. I think the lack of light pollution is also a big help as well as location. Here's a link to good picture of them. (top photo on the page)

There is no guarantee that you will see the lights so be careful.
It is a bit like buying tickets to see a rainbow.

Been there bathing and exploring the island.. The blue lagoon is nearby an powerplant and i think the lagoon and the powerplant is technially connected.... The island is fantastic and they have some golfcourses as well

I went to Norway earlier in the year (lovely place) and was desperate to see them, but sadly it didn't happen (I was at the wrong end of Norway though!)
