Out of interest, how did you get into Guster? they are hardly well known over here, I only heard of them coz they regularly supported Barenaked Ladies, a band I really like so I checked them out.

Exactly the same way funnily enough. Discovered Barenaked Ladies on the "FRIENDS" soundtrack (Shoebox) and the rest is history. BNL are the band that really got me into a lot of the music I listen to nowadays (and they're still one of my favourite bands, though they're not quite the same since Steve Page left)...

If you've not heard them, Vertical Horizon and Better Than Ezra are worth checking out.

Funnily enough, I never bothered much with new music until I heard a couple of tracks off Gordon (thank you Danny Baker) bought the album and then started to listen to more new music (early 90s), which got me into Indie. Seen BNL a lot when they come to the UK, I even got a mention in a blog by Ed. :) and yes they do miss Steve's vocals.

Listening to Sigur Ros a lot now. Saw them last night and they were just superb, got down the front, no big apeth to block my view, it was almost a spiritual experience. They finished with Popplagio, a 15 minute song building to an audio and visual frenzy. If there's a better way of finishing a concert I have yet to hear it.

I've only seen them thrice (if I recall correctly). Last time was on the BLAM tour in Manchester at the Apollo. I finally got to hear "When I Fall" performed live, which pretty much made my life! Was nearly in tears! I hope Steve comes back one day. "All In Good Time" is ok, but not a patch on their older stuff.

If you aren't easily offended by a bit of profanity, check out 212 by Azealia Banks on Youtube. Loving this song at the moment.

Looks so innocent with her pretty smile and Mickey Mouse jumper but the filth in this song is superb. :D
