Have organised, through our very own Allan 'Dodger' Rodger, to play The Hirsel on Sunday 22nd April as part of an annual golf meet with my cousin, who's coming up from Hertford, and my best mate Neillbro. Just having a nose at the club website tonight and was intrigued to see that the 9th hole is called 'Craw Strip'. Did our Mr. Kilpatrick fail to clear the ladies tee there, or is there another reason for it being called this?

Cheers Paul.

Should be a top weekend - Playing Gullane 2 on the Friday, Haddington on the Saturday and The Hirsel on the Sunday.

It's got a wonderful Tee sponsor too ;)

Great Course you'll enjoy, Dan the Pro in the shop is a good mate of mine. He has been known to do the odd deal or two :) (Dodgers alreet too)

Aye the Tee Sponsor isn't a bad egg really...

7th hole is definitely my favourite on the course followed by the 18th which is a reachable Par 5 but with plenty trouble waiting for the errant shot.

I am sure you will enjoy it Del,I have even organised the weather for that day!;)

7th.
