The cup is coming home...game over at Goswick

Well done to my brilliant team. Not the brightest bunch (spot the deliberate mistakes in the team photo) but damned fine golfers, one and all.

Watch out for the video sometime tomorrow night.

sounds likle another epic
well done to the Scots, hard luck England
Loving the pop out pics J_F. How do you get them to work or it that just standard with the new forum (I did tell you I'm still finding my way round how it works!)

A little disappointed with the "dress" between you lot. I know it was windy and not the best weather but I expected better, especially from Murph and Viscount - that's why we didn't win, they weren't blinded by colour.....;)

They're just the standard means of uploading photos now, Mike. Very handy and a great addition to the new forum.

You''ll note that 3 of our team were missing from the pic! They were on the range practicing before the off. The secret to success!!

;)

It's a shame the Engerlish didn't have a load of Viscounts and IM01's ..................47 pts better ball yesterday with 8x3's on the back 9 and 1x2's.......the single 2 pointer was due to a 360 lip out!!

The pictures were from day 2, there were some brighter outfits on the first day.

Many thanks to my boys for their efforts on Saturday, got a bit of respectability back. I think the wind, known locally as "Gale McGusty" did for my boys on the Friday, you Jocks are used to playing in those conditions.

As for "English" soil. It may be South of the border but 95% of the people i've met in Berwick over the three years speak Scottish, so you can have it back! After all a lrage number of the English boys traveled 4+ hrs to get there whilst the "away" side had, in some cases less than an hour.

I, along with most of the English boys would be happy to travel to Scottish soil, i'm not sure how many of the cecked skirted ones would be willing to travel further South.
right, that's the bitterness over with.

Well done to John and the Scots for a deserved victory. Thanx go to Gjbike & TonyN, my partners, and to Patrick, Dave, DCB & Duncan our Oppo's.

Inspired plant, giving me a scouse speakin infiltrator that ripped the pish out of my boys on Friday night totalling sapping what bit of confidence they had. Phil, you will not be forgotten.

One last mention has to be about Grump's chip in on the last for a 2 nett 1 and StuartD havin an Eagle chance just to half the hole.

I for one am happy with the venue, but would like to import some weather from Torquay. Travel not an issue, stupid weather, hmm. I like sunshine, and still, calm, balmy stuff. And palm trees, did I mention palm trees?
