So, just for fun, your Lottery numbers have come in and there are untold millions sitting in your bank account.

Once you've done the norm - mortgage, cars etc - what 3 UK and International courses would you play in the first year?

Exclusive, private member clubs, Augusta, they can all count!

Mine:

Loch Lomond
Cyprus Point
Golf de Morfontaine (France)

#nicetodream!

Do the Lottery numbers make me a better golfer as well? Because if not, I would probably stay away from all those prestigeous courses and invest the money mostly in coaching clinics and golf trips with my favorite golf coaches, whereabouts not so imporant.

You are a Gazzillionaire so you can hire the BEST coaches in the world to play the BEST courses in the world! Who cares if you shot 120? You can drown your sorrows with some champers on your private jet on the way home to your chateau! :D Take your pick!

I'm not sure that the even the riches of Croesus could buy you a round on Cypress Point. I have however been in the Pro Shop and was given a ball marker and score card...but only because I was Scottish the fella in the shop told me...:)

Not too fussed about the USA........I'd do : -

- The open rota in the middle of Summer.
- The Melbourne Sandbelt courses (Royal Melbourne, Kingston Heath, Kingswood etc)

Well, I care, to be honest. I'd rather play a course that suits my ability than to get frustrated on a really difficult one. But okay, I'll play along. I'd probably go for the remote and obscure rather than for fame and prestige, though.

Hamilton Island, Australia
Isle of Harris Golfclub, Scotland

and yes, maybe
Legend Golf Course, South Africa, including the helicopter ride up to the 19th tee :D

I am sure I'd find many more places like that which I would love to visit and play if money wasn't a factor.

The courses on the Melbourne Sandbelt - Royal Melbourne, Kingston Heath etc
All the top courses on Long Island - Shinnecock, NGLoA, Fischer's Island, Friar's Head etc
Europe's top courses - Mortfontaine, Monte Rei, and the top Dutch heathland classics

NOt only good courses, but some good holidays if you did a few at a time
