Best hole in ones are those that are struck well and accurate giving the ball and luck element an equal chance to make the hole.

Many holes in one as pleasing as they may be to the individual are pure luck and nothing more and they are not my favoured kind as a spectator.

Ive never had one but I have had eagles on many holes and the approach shot has been as pleasing as it has been displeasing so I am sure it would be the same with hole in one for me. It would have to be well struck and accurate for the real satisfaction feeling.

Oh no.....that explains where those re-finished Titleists come from. Not only have they been at the bottom of a lake, some pro golfer has bladed one right on the equator (or wherever?) so it'll never be round again....
