HID and I popped to the coast yesterday for a walk along the beach which is 10 minutes away. We bought a couple of local Dover Sole and a crab for me.

I cooked the sole in butter in the pan for lunch yesterday and they were mmmmmmm ! Today I dressed the crab and cooked crab linguine with some chilli flakes, it was Ab Fab!

Anyone else had anything special?

Can't beat fresh fish from off the beach... When having days out to Hastings always took a cool box to buy something from the huts on the beach there...

Cooked some razor clams last week... First time doing so for me... Was well pleased they all opened as they should... As they weren't exactly cheap...

Meatball pasta bake, took about 5 mins to throw the pasta and the sauce in the dish.

Fried off some meatballs and dressed the bake with those and some grated cheese.

Superb with a can of special brew!

Massive wrapped kebab on Friday for euro 3.70 and another big one in a roll for free because I'm the kebab guys new best mate/someone didn't pick up their order

played Durness and then fished off the rocks with a Lure, caught some Mackerel and BBQ'd it there and then, while some muscadet chilled in the sea.

Chilli hot dog with cheese at Celtic manor. With chips, and barbecue sauce. Death on a plate, but worth it.
