Played in a local AmAm yesterday, in damned hot conditions, and as is normal, 2 to count on every hole for Stableford score etc.
I was supposedly the 'Anchorman' off 10, or so they conveniently reminded me on the 1st Tee
We did well, and all did our bit, to finish 13under, and 2nd place, but what was sweetest for me was my 4 Gross Birdies in 6 holes from the 9th, which suddenly felt like a whole different game !!
Felt like Rory for that 45mins !!
Not sure I need the FJ AQL's for our 2nd place, but sure the Pro Shop will allow a swap.
