Tonight I had the pleasure of 18 holes with Andy. My first outing since getting the splint removed and boy did I enjoy it. After deciding my finger didn't hurt when I hit the ball I really enjoyed being back on the green green grass of a golf course.

Lovely weather tonight, and overall the course was in pretty decent shape for April and greens which could actually do with some rain to wash in a light top dressing!! Yes April in the frozen wastelands of Alba and we need some rain.

I hit some good and some bad, Andy was his usual steady self with a J Arthur thrown in for good measure !

(I'm sure I said I wouldn't mention that!)

Good to hear that mate,how did you find the new shafts or is it to early to judge?

Too early, I pulled a couple but I think that was down to me being rusty as opposed to the shafts being whippy.

What a wonderful course, amazing layout and lots of beautiful tree lined fairways. Course I thought was in excellent condition with well defined fairways and plenty grass on them. As Crawford says the greens needed a drink but I'm sure all courses do.

Looking forward to another go in the summer months and having a few shekels on it.

I take nothing for granted now on your reports haha
