Tester wanted

Hello all

I am looking for a forum member who would like to try a GPS device for the reader test panel. If you have not featured in the reader test panel before, currently do not use a GPS and would like to be involved please send me an email... paul_o'hagan@ipcmedia.com. I am off to Glastonbury tomorrow so will get something out to the selected person before I depart for the (hopefully) sunny south west!

Paul I can confirm the South West is very sunny as I write this....but Glastonbury is not known for the sun shine, and the forcast's not looking to good for the weekend. Top tip........pack the wellies

Ummm I've tested before, have a skycaddie and my course isn't on the list.

I don't think I'll apply for this one

It will be good to hear a report on the golfbuddy though! It will also be nice to have another GPS convert on the forum

Thanks to the 20 who applied. KeefG was first out of the blocks and will test out a Golf Buddy for the reader test panel.

Twire, the wellies will definitely be packed! If it pours down at least I will have the faithful Galvin's with me. I would never normally turn down a game in one of my favourite golfing areas but i'm afraid the good lady would never forgive me if I disappeared for a round.

Oh well this just about sums up my week at the minute! I turn my back for 5 minutes in writing about the test panel and how good it is and then Keef (of all people!) gets to test the one bit of kit I have had my eye on for months for nowt!

Keef shall I just get one of the GM shirts posted straight to you to save you having to wrench it off my back?

On a more serious note, let me know how you get on with it as this is the GPS I'm most interested in but there's a lack of good info on it out there.

Actually they can! That's why it's handy for Keef

Mine has a tracker on it and it looks like i'm zigzagging up the fairway when in reality, I go to my ball, then to his, then back to mine, you get the picture

I'm going to change his to metres though, just to confuse him
