TaylorMade r7 TP Steel Shaft Irons

Anyone used the above ? Good or bad views please ? Do you have to be a good ball striker to use these ?

I had the standard R7 irons for a few years and thought they were excellent. Would still have them in my bag if i didn't get my new set through GM.

As for the TP's?

Tommo21, like me, loved the standard R7's but he stepped up to the TP's. 6 monthls later he got rid of the TP's and bought another set of standard R7's. His reason was that he could not do the TP's justice and he plays off 6.

You may well be able get on fine with them but i would certainly try them first

I also play the regular R7 irons (non TP) at the minute and find them excellent.
