Myself and the misses have been watching some tattoo shows lately Ink master and tattoo nightmares.
I have 4 tattoos at the moment and she has 3 and she has just had a 4th and it looks great.
So I have just booked myself in for another on the 1st December.
After doing a bit of research im going to be having a dragon,a full day sitting.
My first tattoo that I had 20 years ago took 3 hours and hardly hurt,a tattoo I had in Spain
and took half an hour I nearly fainted,i was full of drink from the days before.
Hopefully I can survive then im going for a couple of cover ups after xmas.
Anyone else had a long sitting and anyone planning a new tattoo.

not me but my wife had one on her foot a couple of years ago and wants a couple of bits of lettering done so I am paying for those for Xmas. I like tatoos, always been tempted but never really thought of the right thing to have.

7.3/4 hours here pal

I have a full Japanese sleeve (Right Arm) and chest piece.

The outline was done in one hit, see above time, and then 30 hours spread over 10, 3 hour sessions to finish.

Have three tattoos - 2 were done in Cyprus and now faded

Think I might get the two removed

Come on mate get one.
Just go on the net hundreds of ideas on there.

Transfers are good- then you can remove painlessly, and put on painlessly, and they look the same.

I have bee on my ****, I'm hoping to pollinate Cheryl Coles Roses one day:smirk:

Don't see the point of them myself but each to their own as they say.

After spending over 20 years in the navy I did see a lot of crazy ones, and in stupid places. One that springs to mind was a large "W" on each bum cheek. Spelled the word "WOW" when he was bent over:)

I have got 3 that were all done before i was 20, regret them all. none of them "mean" anything and are hardly cool... Lucky thing is they all get hidden away in normal clothes.

I've not got any tats, but my daughter wanted one, so we split the cost for her 18th birthday, her first tatt one sitting 4hrs, photo taken straight after it was finished and now the redness has gone it looks really good

The only thing me and missus asked of her was that the tatt was in a place that would not be seen when she goes for job interviews. We both know the culture for her generation is to get tatts and that tatts are becoming very popular, but as we pointed out to her the people most likely doing the interviews may be less tolerant to tatts.

I have 2 relatively small ones, but thinking of a bigger one next year. Possibly a full back piece, or a half arm/chest covering.. Always liked them and wish I'd had a few more when I was younger..

Have 2. Kinda regret the "NO FEAR" one across my shoulders in gothic script I got years ago esp after it was pointed out as ironic as it on my back and would be seen if I was running away.

I have a Celtic Cross on my left arm which I liked until I seen Wayne Rooneys poor effort of one. I had it done in London on the day of the 7/7 bombings.

I've got a few tattoos, the pain wasn't to bad on most of them.
The 2 on my stomach/ribs took about 4hrs each & got a bit uncomfortable towards the end.
Fancy having another, not sure what yet tho.
