Speaking to my pro during my lesson last night at the course and he has suggested a change that would improve my game.

It involves the timing of my weight transfer from right to left. After showing me what he wanted me to do and guiding me through it i must confess it does feel as though I'm striking the ball better and my balance is more solid, but it does feel really wierd.

I know this is a really genral question, but how long does it take before it feels normal and second nature?

How long after you made a change in your game did it feel natural?

There's no set time but it doesn't happen overnight and all depends how many golf balls you hit and how often.

I still have to think about my swing change when I'm swinging (not ideal) but it doesn't feel awkward when I'm swinging any more.

Perseverance (sic) is the key.

Thanks for the replies gents.

I try and play twice a week, but just lately been more like 3 (2 rounds, 1 night at the range)

Hopefully wont take too long to get the feeling grooved.

I thought dedication was the key;

By the way, [sic] should be used to show you are quoting verbatim and any mistakes are not your own. Did you mean; Perseverance (I can't be a*sed checking if that's spelled right) ;)

No no no, dedication (sponsored by Guinness) is what you need. Perseverance is key, if you want to beat the rest then you need to be the best. ;)
