SuperGolfStore - any experiences?

Poorly set out, spelling mistakes, no physical address, prices too good to be true...

The real clincher is that they sell Ping products online. As far as I know Ping don't allow their goods to be purchased online.

Scam, scam, scammity scam.

Lol sounds so legit....
Q: Is there any Customs Duty I need to pay?
A: No, there is no import customs duty on all of our products. We will declare this as a "GIFT" to you which can help you avoid the Tax.

I ran the normal search checks against this web address but found nothing ‘dodgy’ although recognized the spelling mistakes etc, should have walked away then I suppose! But instead placed an order for a Taylor made R11 Driver at the incredibly low price of £152.
Had good communication with customer services who advised tracking number so that I could monitor my much anticipated R11 from China (first indication that China was the country of origin) to the UK via DHL website.
Driver arrived, well packaged and on first inspection, all looked well. It was only when I decided to alter that shaft setting and the screw stripped with almost no pressure that I became suspicious.
I arranged to compare my R11 with my pal’s authentic R11 and only then did the true picture as to the difference in quality become apparent.
I have listed some of the issues below,

1. Recess in club head is not deep enough to hold the screw which attaches to the shaft
2. The face angle plate will only sit in one position because the spigot that it sit's on is not central
3. The material used underneath the angle plate is sub standard
4. The shaft and markings are visibly different
5. The tool used to tighten the screws does not 'ratchet' so is useless
6. The head cover is visibly sub-standard

So, the moral of this story is don’t let you’re wallet rule you’re head and avoid this site like the plague. I am currently trying to get my hard earned cash back but not holding out too much hope!!!

Bonjour,
Get into the lounge and tell us a bit about yourself......Club..handicap....gear (driver n/a)

Same style as many other Chinese 'UK' sites - though email is actually a domain one rather than hotmail/gmail.

Clicking on one of the info entries, such as 'Returns' goes through www26.53kf.com and dt.tongji.linezing.com which are identifiable (through google) as Chinese - so avoid for golf club deals!

Maestro. You may have some recourse via your Credit Card company or Paypal (you should definitely initiate a claim there!) if you used them. Western Union is a decidedly unsafe way to send money!

Sorry didn't start the thread earlier for you.
Good advise re credit card or PayPal.
Must be somebody to inform to regulate these people. Trading Stabdards, Customs or somebody, I would certainly let TaylorMade know.

Its a forum past time to go onto sites like these, use the chat feature to interrogate the person at the other end as to why they are selling PING...

We have ALL done it right?

yeah, going through that process now but need to get independant reports on the club and lots of other stuff so lots of hassle I could realy do without
