After an impulse ebay buy I'm now the owner of a sun mountain 3.5 stand bag. Just wondering if there are any users on here and what are your thoughts/opinions on this bag?

It's the newer version with the 4 way divided top

I'm looking at a Three5. I previously had a H2N0 as well so I expect the Three5 would be just as good..

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread

Should have the bag during the week so hopefully try it out next Saturday, will report back after that.

I like that the dividers are full length, was one of the main selling points for me

I have the 3.5 stand bag. I really like it and I have been through quite a few bags over the last 4-5 years. The build quality is so much better than the TM, Nike and Callaway ones I have had. Being so light I have found I just fill it up with more rubbish I dont need though. :-) It has an adequate number of pockets to store all your stuff and a handy open pocket for your drink within easy reach while you are carrying. What you will find it is that the opening at the top is quite big compared to bags of a similar weight. This is a great feature as I had trouble getting clubs in and out when carrying a full set with my old wilson bag With the 3.5 you have more then enough room to side your clubs in and out without it jamming up on you against other clubs. The only issue (and this is very minor) I have with it is the ball pocket only has one zip on it which if left slightly open your proVs can spill out. I wasn't sure about paying the extra but I am glad I did.

Great thanks, that all sounds good. I like the big opening on top, anything that reduces the clubs getting tangled is a positive to me

Got the bag at weekend. Haven't played a round yet just one trip to the range. Very happy with first impressions. Delighted with the 4 way dividers, clubs very easy to remove and place back. Don't seem to tangle as much as previous bags I've owned. Also the large opening seems to divide clubs well and i noticed very little rattle as I was walking.
Will report back after using for a full round out on the course
