Just a gripe about the weather-played this morning at 8-30. Dull and overcast as we commence only consolation it was warm enough to leave the jumper off.

On the sixth green the heavens opened-put on the raingear finished the hole and proceeded to the seventh tee. Could berely see the fairway the rain was that strong-we then suffered some thunder and lightening-luckly the lighting was some distance away-naturally we all stopped playing and held station for approx. 20 mins while the weather abated.

Summer how are you.!!!!

Really? it was raining up here at 9am but by 11 when we tee'd off it was clearing and by 12 the sun was burning down on us, tshirt weather too.
How did you get on?

All I can say is that I am looking damn tan-tastic at the moment. Weather has been nice down here.

played hinley hall near wigan today its been very
warm, a little dull at first then the sun come out

Played at Pedham place in Kent today...and boy , was i glad i slapped on the factor 30 beforehand. It was hot hot hot !!! So much so that i drunk 3 bottles of water during the round , 2 pints of diet coke after the round and i've yet to have a pee
