Struggling - moan alert!

Finally turned a corner this season, hit it much better in a doubles match on Wed and then today played decent again and came in nett 3 under SSS so hoping the CSS doesn't come down so I can get 0.3 or maybe more off. Whatever the CSS I'm back on 4 hcap and heading in the right direction at the 9th attempt this season. Missed a ton of short putts too but jarred a couple of longer ones and caught a couple of good breaks in the rough too so over the piece luck evened out. Happy golfer again.
Funny how a decent score gets the enthusiasm going again.

Also, it's nice to see someone appreciate that some good luck evened out the bad, rather than just bemoaning the bad luck

Good point region 3, a lot of players moan about their cursed luck and how they should've scored so much better. Usually they neglect to recall the good lies in the rough they got, the 2 or 3 long putts they made, the pulled iron that bounced back off a bank etc etc.

Must be human psychology that we focus on the bad luck but tend to forget the balancing good luck.
