Sticking garage door

I have a roll-up electric garage door, which frequently sticks after opening about two feet. I have looked for obstructions without success and there is nothing blocking the sensors. If I assist by lifting by hand as well, I cannot feel the sticking point. I have sprayed WD40 on to the moving parts that I can see. It never happens when closing. Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this without calling for a specialist?

Mine had always stuck since it was installed. About 3 years after, two men were installing a new door opposite me. When they had finished I asked them to look at mine. One said "If the company does it, it will cost you £60, if me & Gary do it, it will be £25" Needless to say, I let him d Gary do it. They quickly found out it hadn't been installed straight, put it right & it has worked perfectly since. Sorry, I haven't got the phone no. of him Gary but you should get an installer to look at it.

Try spraying the guides at the side with a silicone polish such as you would use for black plastic bumpers on a car.
