Steel vs graphite in hybrids and fw

Anyone play steel shafts in there hybrids or fw?
I just seem to get so much more out of my irons distance wise than my hybrid or fairway.
I'm thinking of putting a steel shaft in my fw and maybe trying a mizuno fli hi

I had two Fli Hi hybrids (3 & 4) with steel shafts. NS1150 same as my irons. Just didnt get on with them at all. Ball flight way too low, which is converse to my irons which launch mid/high. Went back to EZ hybrids with Orochi graphite shafts and love them.
Very tempted by the 2016 EZ hybrids though.

My irons and hybrids dont balloon the ball at all and having a decent trajectory in to greens mid/high favours my game. The steel shaft hybrids were struggling to get above 20ft. So many just skimmed across greens.

Just seen on the mizuno website they do my iron shaft as custom, worth a pop I guess.

Like Greig I have a bunch of Mizuno JPX Fli Hi with steel shafts. My largest is a 19* (3) and has a 3 iron length shaft so its hard to liken it to a hybrid but I love the thing.

I've been down the local range and tried one, not for me, I did have a try of a few and walked away with an R15, couldn't mishit the thing and it went a mile.
