Can someone please explain to me how I can stay loggedin, so that I need never log in again.

First I'd suggest 'ticking' the Remember Me option when logging in.
If that fails then it would appear to be a cookie issue/corruption. In that case delete all GM relative cookies and then log in (ticking the Remember Me option).
