Anyone any experience of stairlifts ?
Time has come to get one fitted in parents house and a recent fall and a 30hr wait in A&E. 🤬

Got one in for my mother. She's got the hang of it fairly quickly.
There was two types. One that you pull a lever to swivel the chair and an automatic one.
600 difference in the two.

Quick installation.

She put off having one for far too long.

Self install or fiited (if so which company please)

Just wondering how much one expects to pay for a stairlift? My Ma was considering one, but in the end - due to practical difficulties - opted for an actual 'personal lift'. I think it was more expensive, and of course you need the space to be able to do it. But its brilliant.

We had a used one installed into my mothers house when she was still there. They aren't cheap for what they are. When it came to removing it after she went into the home and the house was being sold, they wanted just as much to uninstall it and take it away.
No one was interested in it as a freebie, so we cut the lot up and took it for scrap metal.
