planning on a 2 night stay in April / May, and just wondered if anyone has been and have any comments.

Very good resort.

Both courses nice, really enjoyed the Nicklaus course.

No complaints from me about the place.

I have never played it but have walked it (many years ago) my thoughts at the time as a mid teens handicapper were that if I were to play there to remember to have plenty of balls in the bag. I was a big left to right player at the time.

Two nice courses but take a shed load of balls for the Nicklaus course. Fiendish and unrelenting on errant tee shots

If you use a buggy on the Nicklaus note that you can't leave the path and getting to the fairway (especially the far side) can often be difficult and time consuming.

The Nicklaus is as hard as nails. You need to be straight and long off the tee, and be happy with around 30 Stableford points. If you play a full medal round make sure that you take plenty of balls. The other course is a lot more used friendly and maintained to the same standard as the Nicklaus. Well worth a visit if you have never been there before.

Tough course. Well worth the trip from anywhere! We were well looked after in hotel too.

Nicklaus course is a beaut, the Kernow is good as well.

Courses are great - Nicklaus a real challenge!
Only warning is the breakfast was very poor when we visited last year.
