I've just booked to go on the above in April next year. The package includes competition rounds at the Old, New, Jubilee and Eden course up at St Andrews and also a round at Kingsbarns. Fingers crossed on the weather, but it should be a cracking week. Has anybody been previously and has a few tips as to what to expect?

Yep,wind,rain,sun,snow,thunder,hailstones and more wind. ;)

Seriously you just cannot predict what it will be like but the Auld Grey Toon is one of the driest in the UK so just keep your fingers crossed.

Didn't know that they held a week with play on all those courses.

How much is that setting you back and any links to it?

£1900.00 each starting off, heavy.

hi ben
expect it to be windy ...we always have windy weather in april up here ..1900 is a lot for what ur gettin ...trouble is that we get cold north easterly`s at that time and we don`t get growth till early may so the greens might not be at there best ...seems very early in the year for a week`s golf up here and we might still be playin off mats on the old ...i`d check with the tour operator and ask about mats ...hope u enjoy ur week ..swing easy
