We have been having some rather nice weather up here at the moment and the garden doesn't know quite what time of year it is, with several of the rose bushes in flower again and some of the clematis bushed also starting to flower again also.

but the strangest thing ive seen was last night. While walking the dogs along the River Ness the banks are covered in new Crocus flowers..

anyone else seen anything like this???

These may be Crocus Speciosus which flower from September to November

....it's quite nippy in Southampton today....

It's like June up here in west scotland last few days, very sunny and warm, young spruce trees all showing lammas growth (secondary late season spurt when conditions permit). I suggest we all enjoy it before more typical autumn conditions set in.

A definite chill in the air leaving the house at 6.30 this morning and coming back from the range tonight but the mini roses out the front and a few other plants still flowering with new buds sitting there.
