Just watched Golfing World and spotted Mike Harris chopping about at what looked like a Ping day for the release of a new product.

Should we expect an article telling us how great the latest offering from Ping is and if you buy before the Ryder Cup you get a free well mans clinic check up thrown in? :rolleyes:
 
As far as I am aware he has been with the altzheimers club for a while. Certainly was at RA two years ago. You'd think with all the free stuff to test he'd have found something better, can't be hard. Maybe no one else makes sticks for 'the larger athlete?'

Craw I have to say I admire your steadfast support of PING. Everytime there's a negative comment I would wager a substantial sum of money you'll be one of the first to leap to their defence. I think they should reward you as their most loyal disciple. Judging by your bag a couple of the new Tour-S wedges would be a good start :D

As Pace (Murph) says I have indeed been playing the S57s for nearly two years but having a set of 56s made up for me at the moment.
Hale (Dodger) If you need a good younger player's perpsective on the benefits of PING ask young screwback (another S57 player) for his throughts when he's next tanning your backside up at Goswick! ;)
 
Had the pleasure of a visit to the Ping factory yesterday and saw the new clubs in the flesh. Loved the look of the new S56 irons, they really are a fantastic looking club.
Really traditional looking head, tiny little things. I can see these being a massive seller.
Got fitted up for my new driver and actually saw this being made. Free round of golf at the Karsten Lakes course at Gainsborough Golf Club, superb course with some fantastic holes. Played quite well, as did James, who finished with 36 points with a blob. How did I manage to beat him in matchplay by one hole???? :D :D :D
Big thanks to Tim from Ping for a fantastic day....
 
I think he got an i15, 11° tour regular shaft with an Axis shaft? (not sure if axix is the right name). Some carried over 100yds! ;)
 
So spill the beans mate, what was your ideal driver spec? Senior flex shaft with 15 degree loft? Or did they just give up?

I am always intrigued as to what club Smiffy is going to be hitting into the trees next. He shows such variety to achieve the same result every time.
