Morning!

No doubt been asked a million times, apologies.

Looking to combine our family summer hols with some golf, kids are 13 and 11.

After a villa complex type vibe, private pools would be ideal, nice beach/town nearby. Golf aspect not crucial, but if we could get a few twilight rounds in and not break the bank that would be amazing.

TIA!

Really is subjective as to what you want.

We rented a villa in Calahonda a few years back, property was fantastic, Cabapino beach was a short walk down the road and plenty of golf courses on the Costa Del Sol to choose from.

Alternatively, you could look at the area south of Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca, Punta Prima - Cabo Roig - Campoamor…. Beaches are all good, and you’ve got 3 good golf courses within ten minutes or so, Las Ramblas always had decent green fees available when I lived over there. (y)

We used to go to a place called Casares a lot when the kids were small. It’s just south of Marbella so you can fly into Malaga or Gibraltar. There are loads of places to stay for all budgets.

There is miles of empty beaches. And some nice towns to go to for food like Sabinillas, Duquesa and Etsepona. You could get to Marbella or Puerto Banús if you wanted a bit of posh one evening. Obviously Gibraltar is close by for a day trip or even Morocco.

There is a nice small water park in Cadiz.

We like it because it was away from most of the British holiday hot spots.

There is plenty of golf too. Casares Costa Golf is a great 9 hole course which pretty much shares the same piece of land as Finca Cortesin.
