It's a great course. IMO, a better club to be a member of than Hillside.

Correct and neither am I. That's the beauty of Golf courses and how we as golfers see other courses.
Sometimes we are blinded by the quality of our own course over elsewhere.

Qwerty summed it up perfectly......S&A is charming, welcoming and approachable. Hilliside make you feel like your lucky to be treading their hallowed turf.

When I played Hillside the members were exceptionally welcoming. They insisted I joined the rollup as I was on my own then asked me to stay for lunch and a drink after the round. If I lived in the area I wouldn't hesitate to apply for membership. Whether or not they would accept me though..........
