Good mix of news( National and Local), sport, weather, TV/ Radio listings, Travel
Google toolbar for the search engine.

As a Pc engineer I often load Google as the home page as it is very light and therefore quick to load if you have a poor Broadband connection.or , god forbid, still on dial up.

If you have MSN (the normal default homepage for Internet Explorer) change it as it has to be the slowest loading page in the history of slow loading pages.
