Not able to get out on the course due to work being so busy, until this weekend when myself, and a few friends, one of which is my pro, head over to North france for a couple of days to play a couple rounds of golf and have a bit of a break from monotonous day to day life.

Leave Essex Friday afternoon about 5pm. Staying at a brand new hotel in Hardelot for a coulpe of nights and playing Hardelot Les Pins on saturday morning and Wimeraux Links on Sunday morning. It'll be my first ever time playing golf outside of the UK and I'm a bit excited to tell the truth!

Can't blooming wait.

I loved Hardelot when I played it a few years ago. Great courses.

Would be nice to have a 3rd round and play Les Dunes but the reason I didn't include that as part of the package was because I had read it was a bit boring so opted for Wimeraux instead.

Hoping to take a few lads down to the Dordogne next year to stay at my Mum's place and play a couple of the local courses, problem is it's a 12 hour journey door to door so not really worth travelling all that way just for a few days. We could fly but having looked into how much Ryan Air will charge us to take out clubs (£100 extra return) it makes it rather expensive.
