So near and yet so far. The OP's picture is about as close as I've ever come to a hole in one and I'm beginning to doubt whether it'll ever happen. Saves the bar bill I guess and that can be invested in another pair of myjoys!

It's a beauty - Henry Longhurst had it in his top 100 in the country.

You can just about get a high cut or draw above the tree lines but it's tight

I've hit the plastic of the cup twice as it happens.

My favourite (not one of those) was hitting the flag dead centre and the ball thumping to the ground. I don't think I three-stabbed that one.

So.... no cigar.
