Love the World Champs at the Crucible. Every year i think that i need to go next year and never do anything about it!

Anyhow, Ronnie was his usual enigmatic best in the post match interview yesterday. And what is going on with Neal Robertson's hair?! He rocked up to the Tour Champs like it and i just assumed it was lockdown hair but it looks like he's done it as a fashion statement! Looks well naff for me.

RE Robertson it has been slowly but surely going that way for months now. Maybe it was just a case of living in a hotel and not able to go home whilst playing in all the recent tournaments.
It happened in lockdown 2 as well.

That is Neil Robertson's natural hair, hence why he wears a beanie hat in every day life and he straightens his hair normally when he plays snooker on TV. But with lockdown and no haircuts allowed, he ends up with his natural Coco the Clown look.

I thought it was a conscious choice / fashion statement to go for a full on perm!

Brilliant result for Anthony McGill beating Ronnie O'Sullivan in the deciding frame tonight for a 13-12 win and a place in the quarter finals.

Always disappointing to see Ronnie knocked out but fair play to McGill. Seems to bring his best to the World Champs, maybe the longer format suits him.

Most of the big names survived round one. Hendry was tipping Mark Williams to go far. He did look impressive in his first round match

On a separate issue, there was an interesting interview with Barry Hearn the other day in the beeb about the future of Snooker. Amongst other things, he said that they needed to keep their current fanbase happy, an attitude that other sports administrators should take note of.
