Tried a search couldn't find anything

Is snake eyes gear any good, there wedges seem nice as do the putters

Also in the market for a new hybrid, are they worth looking at, always see the brand about on ebay etc but never know where to find them in shops?

Strangely we dont have a pro shop as such but have 2 affiliated pros who work out of the shop as teaching pros and the club run the shop. That said, over the last year or so one of the teaching pros has introiduced the snake eyes range with custom fit options into the shop, so if you are anywhere near Aylesbury/Milton Keynes then stick your head into Aylesbury Vale GC.

Not tried them but seem pretty decent from those who have had fittings and bought them

Erm.... Perhaps he meant he searched the forum?! Me thinks you are a little paranoid perhaps?

erm....thats a good point.....but we do get lots and I mean lots of spamming posts.........methinks you are a little cheeky perhaps?

I found a brochure in a pub a few years back. Not sure if it was for the UK or US market but there were some seriously good looking clubs and a plethora of fitting options available. Haven't seen much gear around anywhere to try and they seem a niche make.

First thing coming up on yahoo when I search - http://www.golfsmitheurope.co.uk/ so might be a good starting point if the OP is set on the brand

I'll start by saying I'm biased as I'm a clubfitter, so take this with a pinch of salt if you want!

Its a custom fitting brand that is trade only to custom fitters and some pro's over here (supplied by Golfsmith Europe but soon to be Masters Golf as they have taken them over)

I do rate the 695 range of white drivers, hybrids etc and I recently did some sets of the 695LZ wedges in black. I thought they were excellent quality and IMHO very similar in look and feel to the new Clevelands with their face texture, etc.

Probably the main reason you don't hear about it over here (its VERY popular over in the US as there are large Golfsmith Retail Stores) is that the customer service from the supplier is crap to put it mildly and loads of custom fitters refuse to deal with them! Which is a shame as I do think the 695 range is good value in terms of looks and performance.

I had a set of their forged cavity back irons (I think they were the 600 range or something like that).

Very favorably impressed, but a word of warning, if you do not intend to keep them for a good length of time you will find they have a very low resale value. Probably due to lack of brand awareness or snobbery.

Yeah sorry guys meant I'd searched the forum and turned nothing up, I have nothing to do with the company

Looked at a couple of hybrids on ebay and a putter that looked lovely, just wondered if anyone had any experience with them since it seems like a buy before you try kinda thing

Thanks for the info tho i'll keep my eyes peeled on ebay for when they turn up cheap :D
