Smiffy and I chalked up a 3&2 mullering(sp?) of Richart and his mate Jeremy... like lambs to the slaughter :p

(Well I think it was Smiffy, hard to tell as he almost looked/played like a proper golfer) :rolleyes:

Really enjoyed the game and company James. 3 over par better ball, including 3 birdies off 10 and 16 was good enough for a 3 and 2 defeat.

Did you have to play quite so well ? 3 over including an OB was not bad ;) Your one bad hole and your partner suddenly comes to the party ;)

I do feel you employed underhand tactics. My partner was attacked by low flying ducks, just as he was chipping, and i had a sand wedge hurled at me by Smiffy. No shout of fore either. :D It was fortunate that i had my solicitor with me, so you can expect a claim for attempted assault soon Rob.

Can't believe Smiffy hit the ball so well with the driver. One was over 200 yards, although it was downhill, and down wind ! James was hitting his usual 300 yards. On one of the par 5's he hit drive and 7 iron, although he did come up 15 feet short.

We will have you both next time. :p

And to top it all off, Bill had a bad stomach as well!!

Thoroughly enjoyed the game, apologise regarding the sand wedge incident again Rich, I wasn't so much "throwing" the club, I was "lobbing" it back to my bag underhand to save me walking with it. There was no anger at all in my actions.... :o :o :o

Worked out I hit 11 out of the 14 fairways yesterday which is a lot better, and some decent length ones at that. Shame I couldn't get my irons working quite so well.
Really pleased with the drive up 18, first time I have ever hit a 9 iron into that green!
Great company, a great match, but I've, sorry, Bill has still got guts ache

Theres nothing wrong with a bit of club throwing, helps keep the arms loose!

Oh and who's Bill, cos as I read it yas were playing as a 5 ball
 
Sorry to hear Bill is still not good. Might be time for a second opinion ?

11 out of 14 fairways is not bad, specially as the fairways were tight, and everyone seemed to dogleg.

Was the 18th the one i hit a wedge into the back of the green ? :D
 
So JustOne only plays rubbish when he partners me then. Must be in awe of my superior game..........!! :D :D

The bunkers are getting bigger at our place and a few new ones will be born over coming months! Whers is the best place to stand while I watch Smithy in the bunkers? :D
