Absolutely crazy but awesome at the same time. It was just so matter of fact int he end, stand up, salute and walk off. I wonder if there is any footage taken from his suit? seemed to be a lot of long distance footage. He must have been a little panicky as he pulled the chute out a little early apparently.

His visor steamed up and he couldn't make out where he was, so to be safe rather than dead, he opened his chute.

That said while watching live, I still cannot get over how fast he vanished out of site of the camera that was looking straight down.

am i a wuss for feeling slightly (read very) sick watching it?? i have a problem with heights...to the extent i was walking over waterloo bridge in london last week and nearly had a panic attack!! imagined myself being pushed/falling into the river from up there and my legs started to go and i felt sick!

Fair play to the nutter, i am all for high speed! but throw heights in there too!? not on my watch!
