SkyCaddie SGX upgrade????

Is it just me and my handset or has anyone else noticed that after the latest upgrade(?) for the SGX, that the listed info of targets and distances has vanished? I seriously hope that SkyCaddie aren't expecting us to stand in the fairway moving the crosshair around like some silly PS3 game finding distances to multiple targets! I've been with them for years as I couldn't see anything through a Bushnell but I'm really not happy with this!

I am no expert pal but I think you may need to alter your preferences once upgrade complete.... it defaults back to factory settings !!!

I used mine yesterday, seemed ok..... altho it did throw a wobbler once i ahd finished and tried to turn it on again to review a cuple of distances.... it wouldn't come back on, not had chance to have a look yet so not sure what happened !!!

My SC5 is on its last legs and got myself a Garmin G6 at a really good price. Not had a chance to use it on the course yet but kind of glad to be free of SC and their fees and regular upgrades.

Just sorted it!! It was in the targets menu! Everything had turned off so I just changed it all back! I should stick to whacking golf balls and not bother myself with technology!

Must say you're right about the fees but stupidly, and for some unknown reason I somehow feel like I've invested alot of time and money with SkyCaddie over the last few years and was happy with the SGX until the issues of my last round. Problem sorted now so hopefully it'll be normal service.

Not a problem..... glad it worked.... I am the same with the technology.... helps to know how far i am supposed to be hitting it... even if i still get club wrong!!!
