Re: Sir Alex F@&%$#erguson

Dodger, did you see the clip of Ferguson ranting at the 4th official? That was worse than what he said about the ref. I am sure if anyone took that tone with me in my job I would knock seven shades or Gladis Knight out of them then rag doll them all over the street. He was spitting venom at the fourth official and that is what I would have dragged him over the coals for.

Re: Sir Alex F@&%$#erguson

Dont Dish him?

This is the man who treats the nation with disrespect when he refuses to be interviewed by the nations broadcaster. Who the hell does he think he is.
I am saying this as an Arsenal fan and some one who does not like SAF but
The reason SAF doesn't speak to the BBC is the BBC aired a documentary that was not very complimentary about his son, I actually think it is a fair reponse and actually applaud his stance

Like father like scum. So was anything the BBC said wrong? Didn't hear of any libel case.

Toyboy, not upset just amazed that yet again UEFA take the slimline stance on crowd trouble.I suppose the only way to punish the shame was cash, not like they could deduct points and it would have been grossly unfair to ban all of them from the Seville game (yes you read that right) so cash was the only option but 18k?? that figure is a piss take to your or indeed any team who cause hell on their travels....I hope they take installments eh? ;)

Andy,in the real world what you saw is nothing different to that seen ON the park at Fir Park,Paradise,Brunton Park or the village rec....doesnt make it right but it is sadly 'part and parcel' and aint gonna go away.

I actually like Ferguson and applaud what he has done to build two brilliant teams at Man Utd, especially the first time round with a young Giggs, Beckham etc and then to repeat it with the introduction of Rooney and Ronaldho. They are a team on a cusp with a lot of rebuilding especially at the back and midfield still to be done.

However that does not give him the right (or any other manager) to attack referees in the manner he does. It seems beyond him to accept that at times his team were second best. I thought Chelsea under Morinhio saw United's attempts to cheat a referee and followed suit. I didn't and don't condone their manner of surrounding the ref and people like Cole, Drogba and Ballack are just as bad a Rooney and Neville.

I think Fergusons problem priginally stemmed from a problem with Alan Green and then a problem with one of the BBC presenters (think it might have been Hansen) which is why he boycotts BBC interviews. Childish if you ask me and tells you a lot about his siege like mentality surrounding the United brand

I agree totally he is only expressing what other managers are thinking and they have not the balls to say so.Look at what happened at ANFIELD this week with THAT DIVE,if that was Ronaldo other managers would have wanted him banned for months.Fletcher against Chelsea which led to the goal never freekick he played the ball, but he is now being targeted by refs after Wengers comments ,did Mr Wenger have a ban?I know refs have a hard enough job as it is but they have to look at them sometimes.

Can't see much point in forcing Fergusson or 'top team' players into interviews. Few (including Fergusson) speak English sufficiently well for them to be understood and of those that do, few can construct a coherent sentence.
