single cobra irons

hi there,
Im just starting up again after a few years off, discovered women, alcohol etc etc. I inherited a set of 2007 cobra s9 irons from my dad only problem with them is the lack of a 3 and 4 iron.
A 3 iron i can prob live without with the rescue clubs available these days however i really need a 4 iron.
Does anyonr know where i could get one of these? I was hoping for a new one or maybe new old stock.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Don't bother with the 3 and 4 irons - get some hybrids and get into the 21st century!! Cobra baffler's are just about the best in the business. 20 and 23 degree will replace 3 and 4 irons and you'll hit then easier.

Why do you need a 4i

Use a nice friendly "rescue" with 20 or 21 degrees and learn to hit it 10 yards less.

Or just go and buy any old 4 iron (like I did) that you like the feel of.

I bought Mizuno 5-PW and already had a 3i replacement.

I could have ordered a matching Mizuno 4 iron for £70, but instead bought a massively forgiving and easy to hit Callaway big bertha for a tenner. It's probably my favourite club.....I wouldn't swap it for another rescue.....never.

If I'm needing 4i distance but don't fancy the iron (bad lie or rough), I hit the rescue choked down an inch....easy....

My advice would be to contact Cobra customer services and see if they still have any in stock somewhere. Leave the 3 iron alone and use a hybrid but I think a 4 iron will give you a bit more flexibilty.

i definatley want a four iron. I have no problem hitting my long irons and like the flight they give.
also as homerj said there are more flexible try hitting a nice low, running punch off the tee with a rescue club.
it took me ages to get rid of my 2 iron so losing the 3 is still a bit of a blow!
I am willing to get rescue clubs to replace the 2 and 3. im watching a few on ebay at the moment as i think these will help give me a bit more consistency after not playing regularly for a few years.
Il try giving cobra a ring then see what info they can give me

i have the same set of clubs

when i got them they only came 5 to sw and i had to order the 4 iron special
got it through the a golf shop so you should be able to get if not you can have my one as do not use it(like new)

I got the 2008 FP's and ordered the 4i online but since then I can not find them anywhere. Try EBay they might have one?
