Golf is simple. It is about getting the ball into the hole in the least number of strokes, do it less than everyone else more than anyone else you become a billionaire, simple. How you do it is down to you, there is more than one way to skin a cat. Commentaters are usually failed tour pro's who have had to cut their careers short for some reason such as David Howell, Roe, and the like. When you get a great golfer a seriously good golfer on the mic then they are usually awful, take Monty and Faldo, supreme golfers multi millionaires from golf but cannot commentate for toffee, even so I would rather listen to them than the assortment of failed tour pro's and coaches that Sky employ.
Swings do not have to be tachnically great just repeatable for the majority of the time, there has been lots of poor swings that have made millions.

I know he is a on course commentator but Wayne Riley is head and shoulders above any of the sky's golf team.

Keep Di Dougherty for the the eye candy and just have Radar doing all the commentary.
