Silly Warning Signs..

Had the wheel changed as per MOT at my local garage. It came back with a note stuck to the steering wheel ‘check tyre after 50miles to verify if all nuts are still in place’ !!!!

What kind of warning is that? I am assuming someone will come along to say this is an EU directive and hence we are leaving..

Seen any silly warning notes recently??

Quite normal to check wheel nuts after replacement, especially on alloy wheels.

Well, yes the pack may contain nut or nut traces as it may have been packed in a factory that also handles nuts.
Sensible if they want to avoid lawsuits from nut allergy sufferers.

Good point - why do you need a sign telling you how to get to Chelmsford? The only useful one would be one telling you how to avoid it.

I dont know if its a joke or not but when skydiving there is a sign on the inside of the plane door saying "warning, sudden drop"
