Shortest putt

About 4-and-a-half feet yesterday.
That made it a 3-putt from just off the green.
It was the first putt that was at fault - not close enough.
All putts shorter than that went in.

The round from Tuesday or longer ago - I can't remember.

What’s the shortest putt you’ve missed recently
I missed one from 10” today and a couple weeks back from 1”
I stabbed the putter into the ground 😀
Had a 3 putt par on Wednesday night. 18 foot for eagle (and a 2 which were a triple rollover on the 2's in the Wednesday sweep), ran it 18 inches past and missed the birdie putt. Didn't even touch the hole.

Also 3 putted from 4 foot the other week. Missed the first, ran it 3 foot past (pin was in a stupid position on a big slope), missed the comeback and the 3rd one just caught the edge to go in.

Like the OP I managed to miss one from 1" at Edgbaston GC but won the NTP.

It was the tee shot that had finished there and I nonchalantly reached across, "I'll just get that out of the way."

Red face moment.

Never a good look is it. We have a guy who is particularly yippy from 6 inches to 2 feet and if I ever have him in a match I'll give a couple early and then make him putt some. You can see him getting yippier although I try not to look too closely lest it be contagious

I missed from both 1' and 2.5' in one round last week. Duffed the 1 footer and barely moved the ball. One guy in my group tried to call it an air shot (and wrote it on the scorecard) but luckily another had my back. It was my third putt from about 6 feet and I was annoyed!

The 2.5', I lipped out, having just claimed the NTP on that hole. What was more annoying was I'd done the same thing, same hole, same pin placement only the day before (just coming the other way)
