Just read another post about practice and it got me thinking.

I live in the centre of Glasgow in a 2nd floor flat and i am not a member of a club.

My question is, does anyone have suggestions where i could practice my short game.

I regularly go to the local range, but short wedges and chipping off mats, from a level up has nothing like the feel and response i would want from short practice. I also have no garden.

Is there anyone here who takes a tube of balls up to the local park and chips in between the dog walkers and morning drinkers :p to get some practice in.

Not specific to Glasgow btw.

I think you'll find that most parks will have signs up somewhere saying "No Golf permitted".
You clout somebody with a mis-hit ball and the compensation claim specialists will have a field day.
Have you got any footie pitches near you?
See how close you can chip to the penalty spot that sort of thing.

Footy pitch is a good shout. Dont mind a short drive to one either.

Most round me are clay. Good practice for playing off a tee-side path :o

Either that or buy a top floor penthouse and pray i dont hit one thin ;)
