Shoe inserts

After buying my Nike lunar controls my smaller foot is alittle loose. If I tighten the laces up to fit a little bit raises so in wet weather the water will get straight in. I was wondering will a simple insert do and wether to put it under the original insole or on top off? Sounds abit daft I know but the original are obviously contoured to the shoe. The other option is a more specific and more expensive type. Anyone have a similar problem and have you found a good solution?

I had problems with my FJ Icons giving me a blister on the bottom of my left foot. Bought a pair of Scholl cushioned inserts last week for £2.99. Cut to size (there are dotted lines on the inserts to get it right) and popped in the shoes. Wore them on Saturday and like walking on air. Highly recommended.
For £2.99 what have you got to lose????

Nah, my feet are the same size am afraid. But I do love my Nike Lunars....

However, I do get sore feet (pathetic I know) and used inserts in my old shoes (don't need them for the Lunars though) and just put them on top of the original insert. They will soon mold the the correct shape.

Thanks they are really comfy and even though there is a little bit of movement in the shoe I've no blisters etc was just worried about them leaking in the draught weather! I wore them for 6 hours straight on sunday at golf live and felt fresh as a daisy! Right I know what to get from town tomorrow now.

I have nearly a whole shoe size difference between my feet (strange I know). I usually get shoes to fit my small foot. Then take the other to the cobblers and get it stretched to fit.

My feet are similar but never thought of stretching! My left is just shy of an eleven while my right is just over an ten. My old pair were fj in 10.5 and fitted fine but just font like any of the current fj's
