Out of interest I've signed up on another golf forum (no not TG!). After waiting 24 hoursto see if I was going to get 'black balled', I eventually was excepted, and duly did my introduction post in the 'New Members' section.

Well after 26 'views', not one 'hi' or welcome to the melee'. Just goes to show that we're all a little friendlier and personal on here than some others elsewhere.

I'm sorry for looking elsewhere. Can you ever forgive me!!

Have you looked at their thread about the inter forum game in "fancy a game?", some of them are not nice folk! lol

Knackers....i've been busted on Magic.

I tried to upload the GM logo as my avatar and i've just recieved a mail from admin asking if I think i'm clever and that needless to say the avatar isnt allowed!

For a site that has so many sub forums it's not very busy either. Must admit I was expecting a busier site than what I've witnessed!

Smiffy was raving about it the other day to me but I dont see it myself, maybe i'm being biased because I was on here before there but I just dont see the attraction, too many sub-forums if you ask me!

Sorry to say, reason for me signing up here in the first place, since a bit of trouble, its slowed up a bit , though I will say for the ones I have met(Most of the active Members), all are a nice bunch, as I expect you guys are

Remember, its another golf forum, full of people who are Anal about golf, both sites have so much in commen

I will get involved and sign up to a game to meet ya, well how else will I find out how you all play

Jahmoo. I wasn't 'knocking' the other site. Just surprised at how quiet it was. Okay this place has it's times, but I think the dicision not to have too many sub forums was the right one. The flow on here works quite well now.

It was, every Thread he joined, ended in a slagging match, so decided to move away, but being a member of The Shamblers on GM means I have made a lot of good friends, who meet up a lot in the year.

haplesshacker, I know it was not a dig at the site, I understand where your coming from, pitty no one said hi to you when you signed up, that is how things are now, you get on with the ones you know....real pitty!

When is the next Golf-Monthly meeting???
