Sharing clubs in 4bbb

Hoping someone can shed light on the following. We are playing in a 4bbb comp this weekend. My partner ordered a new 3 wood which has not arrived, but it is the same as one I have. So can he take 13 clubs out and share my 3 wood. At first I thought no. But reading and article on line is says under rule 4.1b. See rules 22.5 and 23.7 limited exception in partner forms of play allowing to share clubs if no more than 14 clubs carried between them. Any help would be appreciated.

I thought that, but was more hoping it could be interpreted as one carry 14 other could have 13 and share one club.

I think you will find it’s interpreted as carrying 27 clubs between you, as has been said.

23.7 Partners May Share Clubs

Rule 4.1b(2) is modified to allow partners to share clubs, so long as the total number of clubs they have together is not more than 14.

Thanks for the clarification. Have to see if my partner can find a 3 wood to use Sunday. Can’t believe taking 5 weeks for a cobra radspeed to arrive.
