hi,

i know that everyone on here obviously has different shafts but... at the moment i have a Aldila Voodoo stiff shaft however name after having to change my shot shape and other things the stiff shaft does no longer suit me.
I was hoping to get this Aldila Voodoo shaft again but with regular shaft. Does anyone know how much it will cost to get it fitted and the cost of the shaft? Also will the stiff shaft be broken or damaged when being changed or could i sell it on?

thanks

Don't know a lot about reshafting but the Voodoo shaft on its own is going for nearly 200 quid. then you've got the cost of reshafting. Probably cheaper to buy a new club with the shaft you want.

It can be removed and saved, yes, but it's not 100% guaranteed.
Aldila voodoo is a pricey shaft....even a standard NV will cost about £50 before fitting.
I have seen a clubfitter remove and refit a shaft in under 15 minutes, but I'd bet you'll get charged a minimum of £15 or so, not that I'd know.
There must be a market for cleanly removed shafts but logically, I can't see someone taking the risk unless it's cheap, or exactly what they want and is rare.

I think you would be better selling it and then buying a new one with a reg shsft in it

If you get it pulled i dont think it will be worth that much as its a Voodoo for titleist not a aftermarket one,it might be a expensive shaft but you can get it in a lot of drivers not much upcharge

10.5 stiff voodoo? that will sell no worries its a great setup

I found the Voodoo very stiff.

Look on ebay, keep your eyes pealed every now and then one will pop up also sell your on ebay to cover the cost.

However look out for a Matrix Ozik or something unless your heart is set on a Voodoo.

I found the Voodoo very stiff.

I found the opposite, I think the made for Titleist Voodoo's are like noodles. I really didn't like it I got mine tipped to play like an extra stiff but it still wasn't right. I've had a go with a real Voodoo x-stiff shaft that had been tipped an inch and it felt great.

Real Voodoo's are about £200 but I'm sure you could find a pulled shaft on ebay for less if your heart is set on one.

Try the matrix shafts IMHO they are a better shaft than the voodoo. I have a stiff diamana blueboard in my driver and it feels a lot better than the voodoo did.

What sort of ball flight are you getting with the voodoo and do you know your stats eg clubhead speed and launch angle etc?
