seasonal handicap target reached.

Want to share my good news. Have played well the last two competitions and achieved a cut of 2.5 to go from 14.7 to 12.1.
Won a V Par competition 4 up last sat week and followed this with a second place with 39 pts last sunday.

I wish to thank the memebrs of the forum who have encouraged me and other members to keep going on the bad days.

Time to re assess my target.

I'v reached mine now 7.8 and I just can't motivate myself to do any more pratice even playing is getting to be a chore as if i dont break 80 i'm upset, Comps this year have been 74,76,83,85,91 so still really inconsistant non comp rounds have all been between 78 and 82. Think i need to give up playing twice a week and go to the range instead of playing. Well done on the handicap cut Rgs.

Nice one that's good news. I agree that 9.4 should be your new target. That's what I'm aiming for, just 1.2 to go.

Mike taking a break could be the answer---I am not playing as much due to going back coaching a hurling team.
