Scottish Leagues Brave New World.

From what I heard though in principle it sounds a good idea, there was some bizare 8-8-8 mentioned where the bottom 4 from the top league and top 4 from the second league meet in an interim division that allows them to play off for the right to promotion.

All sounds a bit to complicated for the average punter to follow and get excited about, though I may have heard it wrong on talksport. Rangers if they want to boycott scottish football should start in the the Isthmian or Rymans like AFC Wimbledon had to. No favours given out because of history if they want to move country then go through the countries pyramid structure and work their way up through it.

Charles Green's statement today is nothing new, both Rangers and Celtic have wanted away from Scotland for years, neither have sought to hide the fact - it's just that there has never been a realistic way of doing so.

Green is nothing more than a rabble rousing idiot who surely must be causing any real fans of the club huge embarrassment.

Actually, it's probably truer that nobody else wants them.

Anyone betting against league reconstruction again in time for season 2015-16?? This looks half baked at best. Havent heard anyone asking the paying public what they want or the names of any possible sponsors, were going nowhere fast.

Darth.
I think the problem is that what the public want is unworkable financially.
Nearly all of the 'experts' say a 16 team league will not work.

Personally I would love to see a 16 team league without The Rangers and Celtic. Perhaps it will happen within a decade.
