Scotland defeat the mighty Liechtenstein 2-1 in the 7th minute of added time and the Czechs get beat at home, maybe our luck is changing.
Who'd be a Scotland fan though? - dire stuff....again!
A win's a win though I suppose!
Bookies were offering 8-1 on any Scotland player getting a hat-trick, why did I take on that bet?

Oh and well done England and Ireland.

Watched the last 15 minutes and was getting ready to ask if that ranked as the lowest point in Scottish football. No more than you deserved for the cynical way the Liechtenstein team played in the closing stages but hardly a scintilating performance from the coverage I saw. Three points. Take it and run

You didn't look great (but then nor did we second half and against 10 men) but it seems there is little to be scared of in the Czech Republic. If you can get some cohesion and belief then a draw is a possibility and who knows maybe even sneak a win.

Of course if it were England we'd go there full of optimism and get done 2-0 and have a man sent off in the process and then blame weak refereeing

bet away,it will be me thats quids in....we can't play a game at anything faster than walking pace,Scottish football is well and truly at it's lowest ebb and gone are the day of us ever qualifying for anything.We are no better than that team tonight,Luxembourg,San Marino and Holy Island.

On the plus side our under 21's have topped their group but no doubt the team is full of Mark Burchills and John Flecks.

that was the longest 97 minutes of my life, on the plus side thats the hard game out the way, we generally do a little bit better against the bigger teams. Will still go and see Scotland no matter what, bring on the spanish.

Ah what 20 hours does for you.....I have now realised that things are indeed rosy and this is why...

Last night's results mean (assuming Spain win every game) that beating the Czechs & Lithuania at Hampden and Liechtenstein away will guarantee us a play-off, with a game to spare too.

Easy!!!

I'd certainly have taken that option after an hour last night!
